In 2018, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. One of the most incredible pieces of advice I heard from a professor was that "This degree does not mean you will know everything; it simply shows your ability to learn." My degree program required that I take a computer science class revolving around C++. I was extremely skeptical of my abilities before the course, but I kept an open mind and worked to embody my wise professor's words. Ultimately the course ended up being one of my favorites throughout college, and I had found my passion.
Most recently, I worked as a Field Engineer for Halliburton's production enhancement product service line in West Texas. With no prior experience in this industry, I was once again able to showcase my learning ability while incorporating process improvements through technology. In late April of 2020, I moved back to Houston, where I began to pursue my passion once again and enrolled in DigitalCraft's Immersive Web Development Bootcamp.
